Publication Dates:  November 18th - Lombardian, Villa Park Review and Downers Grove Reporter 

November 19th - The Doings/Oak Brook Doings

November 20th - Elmhurst Press

Final Filing Date:  December 21st, 2009

January
All properties are assessed as of January 1st of the tax year.

March
Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze applications and status cards for the Senior exemption are mailed by the Supervisor of Assessments Office.

June
First installment of the property tax bill is due.

September
Second installment of the property tax bill is due.

Late Fall
The Assessor's Office closes the Assessment books. Change of Assessment letters are mailed, and assessment changes are published in the local newspaper. Taxpayers have 30 days from the date of publication to file an appeal of their assessment. For the exact date of publication, check this web site or call our office in October.
