T’ai Chi Ch’uan

Auditorium 10:00

Practice balance and concentration with the gentle, flowing movements of classical T’ai Chi Ch’uan.

Taught by Tai Chi Master Susie Huang, this ancient Chinese series of 24 forms or postures can improve balance and strength.

In recent years, Western medicine has also recognized T’ai Chi as a natural way to lower blood pressure, improve coordination, and maintain general good health and mobility.

Put on your sneakers, bring a bottle of water, and join us in the gym for a new experience with ancient roots.

Neo Tai Chi

Every Thursday

10:30 — 11:30 a.m.

Please join Instructor Mark Drysch for a weekly class of this new form of Tai Chi designed with you in mind. Neo Tai Chi is based on the symmetry of the martial arts and the soft, flowing movements of Tai Chi. The 96 movements of the Neo Tai Chi form create a feeling of relaxation and well-being. It is intended to boost the immune system, strengthen the muscles, improve flexibility and balance, and enhance breathing; the movements are all gentle and non-impact. Neo Tai chi is the creation of your instructor Mark Drysch, who has 20 years of experience in the martial arts and Tai Chi.
